Top Organic and Natural Lip Products for Healing Dry, Chapped Lips

There’s nothing worse than dealing with dry, chapped lips, right? Even worse, many mainstream lip balms—like Aquaphor, Vaseline, and other petrolatum-based products—are packed with questionable ingredients, including artificial flavors, synthetic fragrances, and parabens. Since we unknowingly ingest a significant amount of lip products, it’s essential to choose clean, non-toxic lip care that nourishes and heals without harmful chemicals. That’s why I’ve curated this list of the best organic and natural lip products that I’ve personally tested. Each product is Switch Natural App approved, ensuring it’s free from potentially harmful ingredients. Ready to find your new go-to for soft, hydrated lips? Let’s dive in! Note that there are some affiliate links present, so if you decide to buy any of the products below, I will get a small commission, which supports the blog. :)

Fitglow Beauty Night Lip Serum

The Fitglow Beauty Night Lip Serum is a cult favorite, and totally worth the hype. The wonderful people over at Fitglow mastered the science of good-for-you lip care that truly nourishes and offers lasting benefits for your lips. Even though this is named to be a night treatment, I wear it during the day, because it’s really long lasting! It’s enriched with Plant Ceramides, Pomegranate Plant Sterols and Vegan Collagen. The Night Lip Serum literally envelopes your lips in moisture and it makes my lips instantly look smoother and plumper (without ever sensitizing your lips). It’s made with organic ingredients, and it’s gluten free, silicone free and cruelty free. Shop the lip serum at The Detox Market here or directly from Fitglow here.

Alpyn Beauty Plumping Lip Mask

This Alpyn plumping lip mask is such a favorite of mine, I even included it on my “Best Lip Balms in Clean Beauty” blog post from a couple years ago. It’s tried and true! It used to only come in a glass pot, but now it also comes in an easy to travel with tube! I honestly love both, so it’s up to you which one you prefer, they’re the same formula. My favorite part about this lip mask is how great it tastes, without any questionable “flavors” or “aromas” in it - it simply comes from Agave! It’s also enriched with Hyaluronic Acid and Willow Bark. Forget about the viral (and toxic) Laneige Lip Mask and switch to Alpyn’s Plumping Lip Mask - it will make your lips visibly softer and nourished all day and all night. It’s enriched with soothing botanical butters, Vitamin C-rich Kakadu Plum Seed Oil, and plumping Peptides & Pomegranate Extract. Lipnights also has a soothing natural aroma thanks to vanilla and chamomile extracts. Lip repair guaranteed. Biossance Pro-Peptide Lip Perfector

Let me just say that if I had to choose only one lip product from this list, it would be this one. Biossance used to have a different lip product before that I wasn’t a fan of, but this new Pro-Peptide Lip Perfector is a total home run! This product leaves your lips with a comfortable layer of protection, that’s never sticky or too glossy. I noticed Pro-Peptide improves the volume of my lips while instantly making them feel hydrated. It’s got super long lasting hydration, so you don’t feel like you have to constantly re-apply. It’s enriched with Pro-Peptide™ (a triple strength peptide for visibly fuller, smoother, healthier lips, Micro-Encapsulated Hyaluronic Acid and Sugarcane-Derived Squalane. It’s vegan and cruelty free. Flavor-wise, the lip perfector has a barely there vanilla taste. Ditch your Aquaphor and get Biossance Pro Peptide Lip Perfector here!

Henné Luxury Lip Balm

If you’re into using a balm in a pot, this Henné Luxury Lip Balm is a great choice. This balm has certified organic ingredients like Coconut Oi, Beeswax, Avocado Oil and Shea Butter. It’s formulated without any essential oil or fragrances, so it’s perfect for super sensitive lips. With only seven ingredients, this is a perfect choice for anyone who wants a minimalistic product that just works. The balm is fairly hard in the pot, and once you scoop out a small amount and apply it to your lips, it will instantly melt in.
